What We Do

Real Observer is a curated commercial real estate news aggregator covering all 50 US states and all asset classes. We track sales, leases, financings, and developments across office, retail, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, mixed-use, and land.

Each entry on the site is a one to two sentence summary of a CRE transaction, written by our editor, with an outbound link to the original source. We surface the deal, summarize it concisely, and let you decide what to read in full.

How Deals Are Sourced

Every deal on Real Observer is manually curated and summarized. We monitor dozens of regional and trade publications daily to find newsworthy transactions. Each summary is written in our own words — we never copy source text directly.

We focus on completed transactions and announcements with specific details: dollar amounts, square footage, parties involved, and locations. Market commentary, opinion pieces, and speculative stories are not included.

Editorial Policy

• Original summaries: All summaries are written by Real Observer. We do not republish or syndicate content.
• Source attribution: Every deal links to its original source. We credit the publication that broke the story.
• No editorializing: We report facts as stated in the source. We do not speculate or add commentary.
• US commercial only: We cover commercial real estate transactions in the United States. Residential and international deals are not included.
